Part of why I was feeling so unfocused with this blog is I waste a lot of time online just entertaining myself, so I thought, why not get some use out of those wasted moments and share with y’all what I enjoy while I’m not focused on P.A.

What I enjoyed most online last week was the epic trailer for the upcoming PS3 game God of War III. I only own a PSP when it comes to gaming, so at this point in time I really have no hope of playing GoWIII, but that doesn’t stop me from enjoying the awesomeness of the trailer.

Zeitgeist: Addendum is pretty much all about the worlds monetary system, how everything’s tied into it and how it’s a concept that is built on something worthless, but manipulates so much. Zeitgeist addendum I feel does a better job of tying it all together, giving us a better understanding of just how our world is run. Addendum is easier to digest than the first movie and without the Christianity block presented in the first, I feel the message is more clearly defined.

Addendum explores how our monetary system works, how countries, societies and the world are manipulated through the use of this system and eventual explores alternatives to our current systems. It all seems so easy to understand after watching Addendum, our current system centers around creating debt and maximizing profits, if we live in a world where every thing is abundant and available to everyone, we would have no meed for money and a system based on worthless numbers.

Addendum proposes that technological advancement is the solution to this problem, I can’t grasp this concept fully right now, I do understand tech has made life easier for a lot of us, it’s the getting it up and running and available to all that I can’t grasp, I guess the first hurdle would be getting abundant, clean, efficient energy up and running.

The release of Addendum couldn’t have come at a better time, with the current economic dramas and all, time for a change, time for a better system.

Their A.I research talked about in the video seems plausible enough and there’s hints that there are inventions out there in the world already created by their research, but they’re not allowed to say what they are… don’t you just hate that.

Though I can’t help feel that the video is for promotional purposes and is filled with ideology. Still interesting if your into the whole future robot overlords thing.

And here’s a little bit about the artist.

The video is a short account of the mans work with electricity, his life and his inventions. I think I’ve found a new interest, Nikola Tesla.

It’s like the internet, if you come up with something that everyone wants, something people feel they’ll be better off because of knowing, it will spread across the world in minutes… dang I wish I had an idea like that, I’d be rich.

In the end I guess their conclusion explains a lot of what is wrong with our current civilization.

Just as an aside, if it’s long and I watch it, I’ll post it and I’ve got a lot of long ones to watch.

Interesting ideas, saw a few things I hadn’t seen before, but the most interesting thing I was introduced to through this lecture was one sentence “astronauts watches slow down in space” or there abouts, never knew that.

Got nothing against religion, but my dad once told me “whatever you believe in will be true” and I feel that’s true of anyone with faith no matter what belief it is, it will be true.

I had high hopes for the Georgia Bigfoot, it would have been world shattering evidence, may have even changed belief systems, hell the crypto world would have been seen in a better light and that may have bled into other areas of the mysterious. It still seemed to make people stand up and take notice, crap about the outcome though.

As it stands, a Bigfoot body will still be the ultimate evidence, so would an alien craft crashed into some inner city environment. The ultimate evidence is something that can be held, passed around, studied and isn’t gone in the blink of an eye.

Hard evidence aside, what about photos and video? In my time blogging about the paranormal I can count on one hand the videos and photos that are remarkable and I think are totally genuine, not a lot out of 600 odd blog posts is it. Vids and pics keep things moving and interesting but the amount of fakes out there is becoming a little overwhelming and it’s only going to get harder.

I don’t deal with photos a lot on my blogs as you may have noticed, mostly due to copyright issues (if they came with embed codes I’d post a lot more) and partly because they’re so easy to fake, videos on the other hand had been a lot harder to fake and there wasn’t much use for faking them. With the Internet in its video age, software becoming easier and cheaper to use, it’s pretty much a matter of if one has time on their hands and a hunger for attention, the result being that video fakes are a dime a dozen and it’s to much to investigate.

Just take a look of some cutting edge software headed our way.

Frightening isn’t it, just imagine what our governments and media could do with those, well, that’s if they don’t already have these capabilities.

What about stories and experiences they can be investigated and what not, but with out hard evidence or the experience, on an individual basis they become a case of he said, she said, but compiled together they can be a great source of evidence.

Hard evidence will remain supreme (if it’s not a hoax that is), as for vids and pics, well, it’s healthy to be skeptical, which doesn’t mean dismissive.

Hope that made sense, I also have a habit of not entirely explaining myself entirely, so please don’t take offense.

Here’s a couple magnetic motor videos for ya.

The gadget looks simple enough to make, the only problem I’m facing is I don’t really understand what the hell it’s for. The info I’ve been reading online seems to go in all kinds of directions as to how it works, what it does etc.

Right now what I think it would be used for is not to different from that of a wind turbine, the blades spin (or a wheel of magnets in this case) which spin the shaft of a generator which generates electricity. Some of what I’ve read points to the magnets generating the energy.

Not sure what’s up, I guess I have more reading to do.
