So I’ve actually done a little bit of research into this one, the problem is it’s like the story fell of the face of the planet. The three Grasdorf plates, made up of a gold, silver and a bronze plate (discs), measuring about 12 inches in diameter and of very high purity where found 9 or so days after the discovery of a very large crop circle, by a curious dude who stole the things. Later selling them to a collector, who supposedly melted down the gold one and sold it off.

I don’t know, I really can’t make heads or tales from the information available so I’ll link to all the articles I could find.

When I was younger me and my friends used to make crop circles in my neighbors overgrown lawn, it’s pretty easy to and took no time at all. This is the main reason I don’t have that great an interest in the subject, that and the first time I saw a crop circle was on some T.V show about the people who make them, there was no talk about visitors from outer space making them, the show was also the reason why we made them.

Below is a video by Matthew Williams? a crop circle prankster who shares his thoughts on what to look for when trying to identify a man made one. Seems quite simple really.
