NZ Paranormal Season 1 DVD

Brad Scott from NZPI was kind enough to send me Series 1 of NZ Paranormal on DVD which was featured on Triangle T.V down here in New Zealand. I think I promised to do a post about the 2-Disc DVD and it majorly slipped my mind, that was like 3 or 4 months ago, Brad if your reading this, I’m so, so sorry.

I missed the run of NZ Paranormal on the tele down here, but I did see all episodes on Youtube which you can still view over at Brad’s channel, but after watching the DVDs youtube just doesn’t cut it, so if you’d like to enjoy this series to its fullest I’d suggest ordering it from Brad himself at a very reasonable price.

They’re working on their second series through 2009 and I get the feeling it’s going to be bigger and badder than the first series, so looking forward to it.

Garden State Ghost Hunters Thermal Ghost Video

I know next to nothing about thermal cameras, last time I gained any knowledge whatsoever about them was while watching the movie Predator, so I can’t really comment on the video below.

The video comes from the ‘Garden State Ghost Hunters Society‘, filmed with a Thermal Imaging Camera and a regular camera in a non-disclosed location.

The thermal camera picks up what looks like a figure standing at the end of a hall, the team gets closer and it looks to have gone, the regular camera picks up nothing.

Croxteth Hall Ghost Video

This ghost video was taken on the grounds of Croxteth Hall, Britain by CCTV, it shows a fuzzy figure that appears to be walking the grounds.

This video seems very similar in setup and appearance to the gas station ghost video and the gym ghost video, though it really is a lot more impressive.

There seems to be a trend when it comes to ghost videos making the mainstream media, they have to be from a security camera of some sort, the ghost has to appear blurry and there can’t be any eyewitnesses.

Ecto Worm Video

Coming from Paranormal Washington is a pretty interesting video of what they call an Ecto Worm and upon googling Ecto Worm I see that Atrueoriginall is already on the case.

Paranormal Washington say they examined the floor thoroughly and found nothing that could have been the falling object. The object is pretty substantial and if it were physical it probably would have been found, just my opinion though.

Imam Mahdi Captured on Video

I’m just going to through this one out there. The video was shot in Iraq while a ceremony was going on and shows what looks like a dancing light, full figured.

I don’t even know if the title of this post is correct, researching the words got me all kinds of confused.

A closer look at the stick-figure alien videos

Mori of Forgetomori takes a close look at a couple of the recent alien videos to pop up, the Peruvian and the Fresno videos, as well as some old favorites.

I’ve got to admit that for a long time I thought the Ghost Crossing video was the best thing since boxed wine, mind you, back then everything I saw was amazing. Then I saw the Mexican Zoo video and it dawned on me what was going on, went and checked the Ghost Crossing video again and sure enough I realized what was happening.

The Peru video is very similar to the two above, but the Fresno footage is very different, could be real, if not, then it’s probably a hoax of some kind.

Shadowy Figure Captured by 12 Year Old Boy

Thanks to dg1884 for pointing out this video. The video was shot by 12 year old Reece Pitman, while randomly filming his house with his mobile phone. It shows a shadowy figure moving across the view. Reported by The Sun.

I can’t explain it, there does seem to be something going on with the bright lighting though and the figure looks pretty close to the camera to me.

Another interesting Ghost Video, 2 days in a row, woot.

Cowboy Ghost Video

Cowboy Ghost Video

From the P.I.T crew comes one of the most interesting ghost videos I’ve seen in a long time. The video shot from a stationary camera shows an apparition moving past it, it then comes back and we get to see what looks like the ghost of a cowboy.

The video is from an 8 night investigation the P.I.T crew did at an Industrial Facility.

I haven’t done this before, but hopefully it works, below is a playlist of all the videos relating to the investigation, I haven’t watched them all, but I will after I post this.

Girl Possessed while using Ouija Board

I’ve used a Ouija Board once, nothing happened, though we didn’t put a lot of effort into it, probably because if we had something could have happened and we’d be screwed, well that’s the thought that pops up in my head every time Ouija is mentioned.

My first impression of the video below was that it looked fantastically authentic, then I read the users profile, she’s a filmmaker, bunked already, so why am I posting it? well, it’s top notch stuff, I love things that invoke an emotional reaction in me, which this did and not a lot of things on youtube do that for me.

EDIT: Reading through the comments on youtube it looks like the user isn’t really giving to much away about the authenticity of the footage, the tone leans toward it being real, so who knows.
